Aysa Hospitality was founded in 2013 by Nishal Patel, a second generation hotelier who immigrated to the United States at the age of 2. The name is an acronym that was created using the names of Nishal’s two sons. Aysa is a family owned company that strongly believes in family values and hands on involvement. Nishal strongly believes you cannot ask someone to do something that you haven’t or won’t do yourself. At Aysa, all team members are part of a family that work together in order to exceed our guest’s expectations.

The company is currently pursuing management contracts and new development in the greater Atlanta metro area.

Nishal Patel, President

Nishal Patel grew up in the hospitality business as a child. After high school, he attended Georgia Tech and received an Electrical Engineering degree. Nishal then decided to enter the corporate world. He worked at Lockheed Martin for 6 years and earned an MBA in Finance from Georgia State during that time. In 2007, he decided to emerge himself back into the hospitality business. Nishal successfully developed and operated 3 franchised hotels in the following 6 years. At that point, he knew a management company would need to be formed to continue expansion and effectively manage the hotels. Aysa Hospitality was founded in 2013 to meet these needs. In his spare time, Nishal likes to cookout, go to the gym, and spend time with his family.

Kai Wolter, Director of Operations

A native of Germany, Wolter is a 33 year veteran of the hotel industry having served in both full and select service properties. His background includes extensive Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Sales and Operations.  He began his career with Gill Hotels, ITT Sheraton, and The Continental Companies.  In 1995 he became one of the founding members of Noble Investment Group, and saw the company grow from one hotel to over 50.  After an 18 year career with Noble Investment Group, Wolter joined Peachtree Hotel Group, where he oversaw a portfolio of 10 hotels for 2 years. Wolter has won numerous awards in his career to include:  IHG Torchbearer, IHG Newcomer, IHG Priority Club Members Choice, and Hilton Circle of Excellence.  Additionally he was awarded General Manager of the Year for IHG.  He received his degree in communication from St. Thomas University in Miami.   Throughout his career he has been actively engaged in civic organization such at the Boy Scouts, Rotary International and most recently serving as Chairman of the Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Wolter is fluent in German and Spanish and holds the Certified Lodging Manager designation.

Paula Weaver, Director of Sales

Paula is a 30-year veteran hospitality professional, who has extensive experience in premium brand both select and full service hotel. She started her career with the Wyndham brand, where she quickly progressed through the brand in Catering Sales, F&B, and Director of Sales. Paula subsequently joined Lodgian, and held the General Manager positions with Courtyard, SpringHill Suites, TownePlace Suites and Holiday Inn. Prior to joining Aysa, Paula held the position of Director of Operations for Hotel Evolutions, where she oversaw a portfolio of 12 hotels. Paula enjoys excursions with friends, and creating memories with her family.

Jennifer Workman, Operations Support Manager/Human Resources

Jennifer began her career at Aysa in 2001 while working at the Country Inn & Suites Smyrna. From there she progressed to the Candlewood Suites Atlanta West, where she most recently held the position of Sales Manager. In her current role Jennifer assists the hotels by conducting property visits, payroll, tracking performance metrics, and human resources. She also leads the Aysa Community Care Committee, that schedules company activities, monitors collection activities, and acts as a liaison with partner agencies. Jennifer has a passion for animals and loves to garden in her spare time.
